Natural Bathing Lakes

Leutasch is a true jewel of nature: with lush meadows and forests, the picturesque high plateau invites you to explore: whether on foot or on a mountain bike, summer outdoor activities can make you sweat. How handy that the Leutasch valley can offer you the chance to cool down in one of its numerous bathing lakes. The natural lakes in Tyrol score highly with the very best drinking water quality and remain pleasantly fresh even in high summer.

Wildsee in Seefeld:
The Wildsee in Seefeld is a popular bathing lake with two lido facilities. The southern shore of the lake has been protected since 1926.

Möserer See in Buchen:
The Möserer See lies above Mösern and is considered one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol. The natural lake is located in the nature reserve.

Lautersee in Mittenwald:
The Lautersee offers a beautiful mountain panorama and a bathing facility. The water temperature is about 22 degrees.

Ferchensee in Mittenwald:
The Ferchensee lies in the Wetterstein Mountains and is fed by mountain streams, the water temperature is around 20 degrees.

If you don't want to venture into the natural bathing lakes, you can enjoy the adventure pool in Leutasch: The Alpenbad is equipped with an indoor and outdoor pool, a sauna world and solariums. Outside there is also a large sunbathing lawn with a children's play tower and swings. The 87 metre-long tube slide is a highlight not only for the little bathers.
