In general Hotel & Rooms

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Your room will be available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, please vacate your room by 11 a.m. Late check-out is possible subject to availability and by arrangement.

When is the reception desk staffed?

The reception team is available daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. to offer advice and assistance.

What are the advantages of the guest card?

The current offers and programme can be found online or at reception.

How can I pay my hotel bill?

We accept payment in cash, by EC card, VISA or Mastercard.

Do I have to pay a deposit for my stay and what are the cancellation conditions?

Yes, a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due after booking. You can find the valid cancellation conditions here. All paper used in the hotel is recycled.

Is the Leutascherhof barrier-free?

Is the Leutascherhof suitable for wheelchair users? Unfortunately not. Although there is a lift in the hotel, there are hardly any rooms that can be reached without stairs. Please enquire at reception before booking.

Are dogs allowed at the Biohotel Leutascherhof?

Yes, in certain rooms and in the lounge. A charge of €15.00 per day per dog (excluding food) applies.

Do you have rooms without carpeted floors?

All rooms and suites have wooden floors, with the exception of the Hochwanner Suite and the Zugspitze Suite.

Do you have allergy-friendly beds?

Yes, please let us know when booking if you require one.

Which rooms are suitable for a holiday with children?

The junior suites and suites are ideal as they have a separate room. The Gehrnspitze and Ahrnspitz rooms each have a 160 cm wide sofa bed.

Do you provide cots?

Yes, we are happy to do so! Please let us know when you make your booking.

What facilities are there in the vicinity of the hotel?

There is a supermarket and sports shop within 500 metres.

Gourmet-Restaurant Leutascherhof

Can I eat vegetarian or vegan food at the Leutascherhof?

There is a vegetarian menu to choose from every day. If you would like to eat vegan food during your holiday at the Leutascherhof, please let us know when you make your booking.

Can you cater for my food intolerances?

Yes, a lactose-free and gluten-free menu is offered daily. Please inform us of any food intolerances or dietary requirements when booking so that the kitchen team can cater for your needs.

What are your meal times for hotel guests?

Breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., lunch soup from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., cake buffet from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Are drinks included in the gourmet board?

No, drinks are not included in the price.

How many different organic wines do you offer?

The Leutascherhof wine list comprises around 120 items. Special attention is paid to wines from Austria when making the selection. The diversity and excellent quality of Austrian wines are well worth discovering!

Do I always have to order a whole bottle of organic wine?

Eveline Wandl also offers various wines by the glass every day. This allows you to get a good overview of the variety of organic wines from Austria and other European countries during your holiday.

Can I bring my dog to dinner?

Please let us know if you would like to bring your dog to dinner.

Arrival and departure – travelling by public transport

Can I travel on buses free of charge?

Yes, with your guest card you can use all buses in the Seefeld region – Tyrol's high plateau – free of charge.

Where is the nearest train station?

The nearest train stations are in Mittenwald in Bavaria and Seefeld in Tyrol.

Is there a taxi rank at the train station?

Yes, but we recommend booking a taxi in advance. The team at reception will be happy to make the reservation for you.

How far is it to Leutasch by bus and where do I get off?

The bus journey from Seefeld takes about ten minutes; the stop is called Weidach/Zentrum.

How far is it from the bus stop to the hotel?

It is about a 300-metre walk; the hotel is located on a side street.

Hiking

Can I go hiking directly from the Hotel Leutascherhof?

Yes, that is possible. You can get tips at the reception desk. However, most hikes start in the exceptionally beautiful Gaistal valley.

How far is it to the Gaistal alpine pasture paradise?

The 6.5 km drive takes about 10 minutes.

How far is it to Scharnitz, the starting point for the Karwendel Mountains?

Allow for a leisurely 11 to 15 minutes' drive.

Do I have to pay parking fees?

Yes, where parking fees are charged, you must pay them. There is no discount with the guest card. Use public transport instead of your car.

Are there hiking trails suitable for pushchairs?

Yes, information on this is available at reception.

How do I get to the starting point for the guided hikes?

The hotel's own hiking bus can transport up to eight people. If more participants are registered for the guided hike, we ask you to carpool in your own cars. The hiking guide will be happy to arrange this on site.

Can I hire hiking equipment from you?

Yes, we have rain jackets and walking sticks, as well as a small selection of hiking boots available for hire. You will find a hiking rucksack in your room. Please bear in mind that your own well-worn hiking boots will be more comfortable than hired ones.

Biking & swimming

Where can I find information about cycling tours?

The 32 most beautiful cycling tours in and around Leutasch in Tyrol can be found in the Seefeld Bike Guide, which is available at the Leutascherhof reception. With detailed route descriptions and a handy list of mountain huts, this bike guide is your best companion. If you are interested in guided MTB or e-bike tours, you can obtain the latest offers and information at reception at any time.

Is there a bike rental service at the hotel? What bikes are available for hire?

At the Leutascherhof, you can hire trekking bikes and mountain bikes free of charge; e-bikes cost €35.00 per day.

Where can I charge my e-bike on the go?

On the Seefeld high plateau, there are more than 100 Movelo e-bikes available at 17 rental stations and 10 battery exchange stations.

How far away is the public swimming pool and how much does it cost to enter?

The Alpenbad Leutasch swimming pool is 800 metres from the hotel. Admission is free for Leutascherhof guests from May to October. Please show your guest card at the entrance.

Cross-country skiing, skiing & winter activities

Where can I find out about snow conditions and which trails are groomed?

You can find this important information by clicking on the current trail report.

Where is the nearest trail entrance?

The entrance to the 300 km network of trails is only 150 m away from the Eco-Hotel Leutascherhof: turn left from the hotel, follow the road and turn right into the trail in front of the chapel.

Is there a ski room and waxing station in the hotel?

Yes, the hotel has a ‘base camp’ with a waxing table and boot drying room.

Is there a ski rental shop near the hotel?

Yes, the Sport Wedl sports shop and ski rental shop is approx. 200 m away.

Is there a ski school in the village?

Yes, the Leutasch ski school is located at the Alpenbad, around 800 m from the Eco-Hotel Leutascherhof.

What activities are offered in winter?

At the Eco-Hotel Leutascherhof, you can take part in the activity programme – e.g. winter hikes and snowshoe hikes – free of charge from Monday to Friday. The current programme is available at reception; please sign up on the corresponding list.
